Chelsea vs Crystal Palace, 12.30 pm
The new arrivals at Stamford Bridge haven’t settled in just yet. I’m sure Chelsea will do quite well when the team clicks and may even challenge for the title. Palace has been impressive but may fall short at the Bridge.
Bosslady: Chelsea to win the match, the ‘blues’ are fast becoming the premier league’s entertainers, although they have won only two of their previous five fixtures. Crystal Palace looks sharper this season though, especially in the early stages.
Saintyjones: This season, Frank Lampard has brought in new faces to the Chelsea team. I believe it will take a good run of games for the team to fully integrate his ideas considering the number of new players. The season came too soon considering the effect of the pandemic. Crystal Palace on the other hand has had an amazing start to the season with their first loss coming against a GOOD Everton side. I believe this match will be a tough test for Chelsea and I see it ending in a draw with Ayew, who has been unfortunate in front of goal, getting in the score sheet this time.
Everton vs Brighton & Hove Albion, 3 pm
Everton has been a joy to watch; it’s been the opposite of most of what we saw for most of last season. If the players continue to put in such performance every week, the top 4 will surely be in sight.
Bosslady: Everton have made a perfect three-game start to a premier league campaign for the first time since 1993 while Brighton have had more shots and had the greater share of possession than their opponents in each of their three PL matches
Saintyjones: Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton side are on a good run. Their midfield pairing is the most talked about in the Premier League and the confidence of the clear chances they can create, enough motivation for Lewin to bank on. Brighton will find the attacking prowess of Richarlison and Lewin tough to handle. I see this game as a clean sheet for Everton.
Leeds United vs Manchester City, 5.30 pm
Another exciting team to watch this season is Leeds. They come against a City side that was wounded in their last premier league game. While Leeds would definitely entertain, I expect City to fight back and edge this contest.
Bosslady: Leeds united are proving their PL credentials, with two narrow league wins following the 4-3 defeat at Liverpool in week one. But I expect Manchester City to win the match. It is worth noting that the Citizens have not witnessed a goalless first half in 13 straight PL matches across all venues.
Saintyjones: With the extended rest in matchday one, City came all blazing for day two only to crumble to Leicester City on day 3. The var controversy continues for EPL teams and City will seek redemption against a Leeds United side who has shown that they have what it takes to be in the Premier League. Leeds United gave a great performance against Liverpool on matchday one even though they lost and have picked up two wins since then. This will be a great match but City will come out on top.
Newcastle United vs Burnley, 8 pm
Sean Dyche’s side has been struggling this season and I believe it would be the same in this game. But it doesn’t mean Newcastle has been better, the club has also struggled to find consistency this season. I just feel home advantage would come into play.
Saintyjones: For Burnley, the relegation fight has started as they are coming off back to back losses. They go against a Newcastle United side who finds it difficult to create clear chances. Against Brighton, they failed to register a shot on target and it was looking same against Spurs till they penalty kick.

Leicester City vs West Ham United, 12noon
I was surprised to see the Hammers score four times against Wolves. But it goes to show how unpredictable this league is. Leicester scored five against the Citizens and look all game to hammer the irons.
Bosslady: Leicester City to continue with its 100% PL record this season.
Saintyjones: Brendan Rogers and his boys will come into this game confident after their 5 – 2 demolition of Manchester City. The availability of their star striker Vardy will be principal in how well they play in this game. I still see them coming up out victorious and keeping a clean sheet.
Southampton vs West Bromwich Albion, 12 Noon
Both teams are coming off a good result from Gameweek 3. West Brom has started scoring goals but must learn to stop conceding in order to survive in the top flight. Southampton to take the three points, for me.
Bosslady: Southampton have an awful record of conceding first in 14 of their last 20 PL home games but will still go on to win the game
Saintyjones: West Bromwich Albion has shown traces of what they can do but principally lack the ability to keep it going for 90 minutes. They were on a high against Everton till they got a red card and collapsed defensively. Against Chelsea, they were 3 goals up and ended up with a point. Their defensive structure is suspect and will be their downfall against a Southampton side. Ings has placed himself among the dependable global scorers in the EPL and I see him continuing his scoring form.
Arsenal vs Sheffield United, 2 pm
Arsenal’s loss to Liverpool clearly showed the difference, one a finished product while the other, a work in progress. Games against the likes of Sheffield are a must-win for the Gunners who must do everything possible to stay in touch.
Saintyjones: It’s been a massive week for Arteta and his boys who must feel the gods are against them with their line up of fixtures. Micheal Arteta will have to rotate his side having played Klopp’s Liverpool side twice in 4 days. Sheffield United find it hard to create clear cut chances and will find it hard to get any against an Arsenal side that has grown massively defensively.
Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Fulham, 2 pm
The Wolves have lost their bite, no longer looking like the team that competed in Europe last season. But Fulham seems to have more problems as their midfielders struggle to create chances. Home advantage may work in favor of Wolverhampton Wanderers
Saintyjones: With back to back losses, Wolves will be looking to bounce back against a Fulham side who just returned to the Premier League. While trying to fix their defensive structure after selling their star defender to Spurs, it will be a battle of who wants it the most and I see Fulham finally getting their first win of the season.
Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur, 4.30 pm
Manchester United has a fantastic way of winning games or snatching a draw. And they are against a Spurs side that has received unfavorable decisions lately. But Spurs won’t let this one slip off their hands as Jose Mourinho returns to Old Trafford.
Saintyjones: Jose Mourinho, the most decorated EPL manager of the current crop goes against his former side who won their last game controversially. It will be a clash of the titans as neither side will want to lose to the other and will most likely end in a draw
Aston Villa vs Liverpool, 7.15 pm
Villa’s honeymoon looks likely to end soon. But we must give credit to their players having won their first two games and kept clean sheets in both games. It’s early days but Liverpool looks like they won’t be giving up their title easily and I tip them to continue with their 100% record.
Saintyjones: Aston Villa’s start to the Premier League season is perfect with 2 wins from two games and are the only side yet to concede a goal. They will be up against a Liverpool side who is expected to have rotated players mid-week after playing Arsenal in the EPL Cup R16. Martinez who recently transferred from Arsenal and had good games against Liverpool in the community shield will be looking to show his worth further but I believe will find it difficult to keep a clean sheet this time.
Let’s see who wins the week. Good luck Mates!
