Hi, my name is Chumsy and I’ll be giving Premier League predictions this season.
In my 21st year as an Arsenal fan, it’s an honor to host the PREDICTION CORNER. Every gameweek, I shall go head to head with one or two members of the AFO community and we will predict all the games for that gameweek.
For gameweek 35, I have 3 guests… BlacknificentBarbie returns after her first attempt in GW25, JSP also makes a comeback after showing up for GW33 and Shecomms joins again; he was a guest in GW 32.
Arsenal and Chelsea battle for derby supremacy

CHUMSY (AND GUESTS) PREMIER LEAGUE PREDICTION for GAMEWEEK 35
A correct result (picking a win, draw, or defeat) is worth 10 points. The exact score earns 30 points.
CHUMSY’S FORECAST
CHUMSY
Leicester should open the gameweek with a win.
Tottenham should follow it with an away win, same as Palace while I’ve gone for a goalless draw in the Citizens-Chelsea game; should be a cautious game and won’t be open like what I’d expect in the champions league final.
Liverpool should win against Southampton while Arsenal is expected to return to winning ways against West Brom then may lose to a more coordinated Chelsea team a few days later.
Finally, Manchester United has a congested fixture but I believe they’ll get maximum points from the 3 games against Villa, Leicester and Liverpool.
JSP
Leicester still has the Iheanacho factor so it’s a straight win for Leicester.
Leicester 3-1 Newcastle
After the sack of Jose Mourinho, the weight had become lighter and with Tottenham winning their last game and still trying to push for the top 4, this might be another victory for them.
Leeds 1-2 Tottenham
Both teams have nothing to lose really as the host have their minds planning for next season in the Championship, however, having a victory smile wouldn’t be a bad idea for Sheffield United even though Palace would love to gather some more points. A possible victory for Palace.
Sheffield United 1-2 Crystal Palace
A victory for City over an in-form UCL Final Chelsea means that they win the Premier League on their home soil. This is the game of the week, this could be the final before the actual final but I see City winning the particular fixture by a tight margin.
Manchester City 1-0 Chelsea
Liverpool still looking for an opportunity to get back into the top 4 will fight all they can to win this one at Anfield.
Liverpool 3-0 Southampton
Wolves 2-2 Brighton
Manchester United is on top form at the moment as they have also qualified for the finals of the Europa League even though Aston Villa will always put up a fight against any team they meet.
Aston Villa 2-2 Manchester United
Westham United still pushing to make the top 4 this season will not take any chances and this will be another opportunity for 3 points.
Westham 3-1 Everton
Coming back from a terrible draw that kicked them out of the Europa semis, Arsenal may want to give their fans a little bit of a smile with this fixture. Can they do it without conceding, that’s a doubt
Arsenal 3-1 West Brom
SHECOMMS
LEI NEW
Leicester City, I expect to continue their good form. Their football is pleasing to the eye and in-form Kelechi is sure to get one in this.
2-0
LEE TOT
For Leeds, they are home and dry. Another season in the top flight is in the bag. Tottenham needs this game more and will be all out to claim the goods.
1-2
SHU CRY
Sheffield United is a championship team and will be shown exactly that by Crystal Palace.
0-2
MCI CHE
These two teams are currently the best teams in Europe. Anticipate a fluid football against a well-drilled Chelsea’s defence.
1-1
LIV SOU
Liverpool team has lost the spark and I’m sure they are just waiting for the season to end.
2-1
WOL BHA
Wolves team are not here not there. Brighton on the other hand are very motivated and with a fit Welbeck, a draw is a good bet.
1-1
AVL MUN
Aston Villa are solid all-round and that shows in their performances across the season but against a resurgent Manchester United, it will be a little hard.
1-2
WHU EVE
2-1
ARS WBA
1-1
FUL BUR

MUN LEI

SOU CRY
