Hi, my name is Chumsy and I’ll be giving Premier League predictions this season.

In my 21st year as an Arsenal fan, it’s an honour to host the PREDICTION CORNER. Every gameweek, I shall go head to head with one or two members of the AFO community and we will predict all the games for that gameweek.

My guest for gameweek 23 is PATO. He fell in love with Arsenal because of their beautiful playing pattern. He started supporting them in the early 2000s when the likes of Thierry Henry, Papilo, and Patrick Vieira were very dominant. The team was nearly unbeatable.

PATO’s best Arsenal moment was the invincible season and he was happy Arsenal won the EPL trophy at the end. “It’s an incredible achievement going all the way to win the trophy without any single defeat”, he said “My worst Arsenal moment was the Champions League final loss to Barca”

CHUMSY (AND GUESTS) PREMIER LEAGUE PREDICTION for GAMEWEEK 23

A correct result (picking a win, draw, or defeat) is worth 10 points. The exact score earns 30 points.

CHUMSY’S FORECAST

Arsenal hasn’t lost to Villa home and away in the Premier League (in the same season) since its new format in 1992. But this game may not be a straightforward one for the Gunners as Villa has grown in confidence since last season, in fact, I fear this may be the season that the record is finally broken.

I’ve settled for a draw in the Burnley Brighton game while I think the Hammers would get an away win at Craven Cottage.

The Red Devils are amazing to watch and could be horrible on another day, this can be said about their opponents too, but I’ve gone for a home win here. I’ve also given Newcastle and Tottenham home wins. Hopefully the latter gets 3 points after no-shows in their last couple of games.

I’ve settled for away wins for Leicester who has been inconsistent too, for City who has struggled to score goals but I feel they could pull this off at an already fallen Anfield and for Tuchel’s Blues.

And I think the last game of GW23 would end in a score draw; I expect it to be one of the most entertaining fixtures of this gameweek.

Let’s sit back and enjoy the show.

That is it, Folks, Let’s see who wins this week’s Premier League predictions. Good luck Mates!
