A correct result (picking a win, draw or defeat) is worth 10 points. The exact score earns 30 points.

Everton vs West Bromwich Albion, 12.30 pm
Everton played a very good game against Tottenham and I expect this to be a straightforward game for them
Leeds United vs Fulham, 3 pm
The Leeds game against Liverpool was arguably game of week 1. Fulham on the other hand, didn’t offer much against Arsenal. This should also be an easy game for Leeds against a team they beat in the Championship not long ago.
Manchester United vs Crystal Palace, 5.30 pm
This would be United’s first game this season following an extended break after playing in the semifinals of the Europa league. They face a Palace side still buzzing after gaining 3 points against the Saints.
Arsenal vs West Ham United, 8 pm
Another 8 pm kick-off to the Hammers who started well against Newcastle then looked lost at some point. I must say if they play that way all season, they may find themselves battling to avoid the drop. Arsenal have Aubameyang who just renewed his contract and the new Secretary of State who was involved in all three goals against Fulham and hit the post with a well-taken free-kick. I see the Auba-Will combination yielding many goals this season.

Southampton vs Tottenham, 12noon
Tottenham looked out of sorts against Everton; the players didn’t look like they wanted to play. But they secured an away win midweek in Europa qualifiers. On the other hand, Southampton showed some fighting spirit against Palace
Newcastle United vs Brighton & Hove Albion, 2 pm
I don’t think it would be right to judge Brighton against a very expensive Chelsea side. I also won’t judge Newcastle on their performance in East London having pointed out that West Ham played badly.
Chelsea vs Liverpool, 4.30pm
When Expensive meets Class, we know what’s about to happen. Although the new Chelsea players are still trying to adapt, Liverpool’s defence hasn’t been reliable enough since the remaining few games of last season.
Leicester vs Burnley, 7pm
Leicester’s beautiful style of play hasn’t disappeared and Burnley played some interesting football last season but I’ll stick with the home side.
Monday 21 September 2020
Aston Villa vs Sheffield United, 6 pm
Another Monday evening game for Sheffield United. I don’t see either team doing enough to get the 3 points but we know it could turn out differently when the match starts.
Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Manchester City, 8.15 pm
The Citizens would want to put away their European disappointment coming into this game. But I think Wolves would do enough to stop England’s second-best team last season
That is it Fans! Let’s see who takes the week. COYG!
While none of the three predicted a correct score, Tucker finished the week on top after correctly predicting 6 results to get 60 points.
Thanks again to Tucker and Sarge for their contribution. And congratulations to the former.
