Fulham vs Arsenal, 12.30 pm
Fulham played good football on their way to regaining promotion, and I expect a good outing from them. But I don’t think it would be enough to stop Arsenal. I expect Mikel Arteta to bring in an attacking midfielder and a defensive one too although this is dependent on how many players Arsenal would sell or send out on loan. Arsenal’s Aubameyang should come to the rescue.
Fulham will want to show their strength as a newly-promoted side, but they stand no chance at all.
This is a London derby it hás never been an easy game, but I see Arsenal winning it.
Crystal Palace vs Southampton, 3 pm
Southampton has found a way of edging it against their London opponent. I’ll have to back them here.
Liverpool vs Leeds United, 5.30 pm
At some point last season, we weren’t sure the league would be completed. During that time, I felt sorry for both Liverpool and Leeds as both were top of their different divisions; but both went on to finish 1st when football resumed. Leeds won’t be blown away in this game but it’s 3 points to Liverpool, for me.
Marcelo Bielsa will want to prove himself, but the champions will come out with a win
Liverpool will start where they stopped last season.
West Ham United vs Newcastle United, 8 pm
I’m tempted to go for an away win, but the Hammers fight back in the remaining games of last season means I’ll go for a draw.

West Bromwich Albion vs Leicester City, 2 pm
West Brom was another team that did very well at the Championship and deserved promotion, but I feel their opening game will end in a loss.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Everton, 4.30 pm
Two managers with loads of experience between them. Five champions league and many league titles including the premier league. This should be the game of the week.
Everton really strengthened their squad, so I believe they’ll take a point at white hart lane.

Sheffield United vs Wolverhampton Wanderers, 6pm
Both teams have a similar pattern, but with Wolves extra run at the Europa League, I’ll give it to the home team that’s had more rest.
It’s going to be a tough match, but United will come out with a win.
This is a game of equal strength, but I’m giving it to Sheffield.
Brighton & Hove Albion vs Chelsea, 8.15 pm
Chelsea has had a hectic transfer window, and there is the expectation for them to compete for the title. They’ve strengthened in key areas, but I’m not convinced about the man between the sticks; they should win this though.
Brighton stands no chance at all.
I don’t see Brighton stopping Chelsea.
