Arsenal goes Head to Head in a Premier League thriller: Arsenal vs. Leicester

Both sides were victorious in the Europa League on Thursday night, but come into this weekend off the back of defeats in their last Premier League matches against Manchester City and Aston Villa respectively. The Foxes are winless in two premier league games with defeats to Westham and Aston Villa in the past weeks, conceding four goals and failing to register a single goal. Arsenal on the other hand has lost two games in the premier league this season, going down against the defending champions and last season runners up.
The foxes were without Vardy, Soyuncu, Gray, and Ndidi, however, Gray and Vardy remain likely to feature against the Gunners, with Brendan Rodgers quoted to have said the following: “Hopefully, he comes through that over the next 48 hours and is available for the squad.” Vardy’s absence would provide Arteta’s men more comfort having scored 10 goals and assisting 1 in 10 premier league games against Arsenal, even in his toughest time, he always manages to put one past the Gunners.
The match at the Emirates is expected to be an interesting one with the winner can go as high as 3rd on the log. Both teams are aiming to bounce back from narrow defeats last weekend. While Arsenal seems to be more solid at the back, the home team needs to be more creative and may find Leicester approach more comforting for Arsenal attach to have more shots and run at the Foxes defence.
With Partey solid display in Europa League against Rapid Vienna, it is strongly believed that the Ghanaian may have his home debut against the foxes. Likewise, Fofana has settled in pretty well at Leicester and Soyuncu might not be so missed after all.
Pepe Prepared?

Leno, Bellerin, Luiz, Gabriel, Tierney, Partey, Xhaka, Ceballos, Aubameyang, Pepe, Lacazette.
Leicester Possible Starting Team prediction:
Schmeichel, Castagne, Evans, Fofana, Justin, Mendy, Tielemans, Barnes, Praet, Maddison, Iheanacho
on Leicester's start to the season...
Well, they’re a really difficult team. I think Brendan and his team have done a great job. They dramatically changed the philosophy and the way of playing, since they arrived and I think they had an incredible season last season. This season, ups and downs, like almost every team in the Premier League and some incredible results, like when they played against City. They can adapt and play different ways and sometimes they are really dominant, sometimes they can defend with a low block but overall they’re a really, really good team.

I just hope Arteta will play Auba up front. Because Auba seems almost invisible on the pitch these days.

[…] Arsenal lost an opportunity to leapfrog the foxes and get into the third position after some major big teams dropped some points. Mikel Arteta’s men will be biting themselves over a lack of cutting edge in the final third of the opposition half as talismanic skipper, Pierre – Emerick Aubameyang failed to find the net yet again in what would be his longest league goal drought since 2014 where he failed to find the net in five consecutive league matches.
