Chumsy and Shecomms will be predicting every premier league game this season.
Both are very passionate about football and have been Arsenal fans for over 20 years going through the good and difficult times. “There’s no better club than Arsenal,” says Shecomms, “it’s where I want to be.”
Chumsy also insists he would rather sit at home than jump ship. “I grew up loving Real Madrid and Milan AC but since I started supporting Arsenal (at a young age too) it’s been about the Gunners. It may not be okay today, but we’ll be great again. It’s funny when rival fans laugh at us or question if we have what it takes to be at the top. Although it doesn’t look like we’re there yet, I know we are close”
CHE MCI 1 0
Two big teams go head to head in the first fixture of this gameweek. Both clubs would have I mind midweek champions league fixtures. Still think Chelsea would edge this.
MUN AVL 3 1
The Red Devils haven’t been convincing even after adding Ronaldo to their squad. But one unique thing is they still find a way to get results.
EVE NOR 3 0
The Toffees were stunned last time out by 3 Villa goals in 9 minutes. They shouldn’t have any problems winning this. Norwich must find a way to start creating chances and scoring goals.
LEE WHU 1 2
The Hammers would be glad to welcome Antonio back as he was greatly missed against United and that could be the difference in this fixture.
LEI BUR 2 1
The Foxes haven’t been the great team we watched last season but should do enough to secure the win against BurnleyWAT NEW 2 1
Watford is another team that has played well this season. Newcastle has also been good but I think the home team would edge this.
BRE LIV 0 3
Brentford has had a good start so far and I really hope they stay up. But we have in Liverpool a team that has what it takes to win the league even though not many people mention their name in that area.
SOU WOL 1 2
I know people would be wondering why I’ve gone for an away win. It hasn’t really worked out for Wolverhampton Wanderers but you always see the intent when they play and that’s why I’ve gone for them.
ARS TOT 1 1
Arsenal players seem to now understand themselves and play as a team. On the other hand, it looks as if Spurs team are struggling. North London derby is always an interesting one with many goals. But I feel both teams would be cautious which could lead to a draw.
CRY BHA 1 1
Another match that could go either way. While I’m tempted to say it would be a win for Patrick Viera and his boys, I’m reminded that Brighton can be deadly on their day.
Chelsea 2:0 Man City
The star match of the week. Though Man city is in a good form, Chelsea is the best team in Premier League right now. In addition to their great form, they are even at home. This win goes to them.
Man U 3:2 Villa
I expect this to be a tough game, which is mainly because of the inconsistencies in Man U performance. Despite this inconsistencies, I still expect them to win this match.
Everton 2:0 Norwich
Everton performance this season have not been so good but Norwich’s performance is even worst. I expect Everton to use them as a stepping stone to get back their mojo.
Leeds 2:2 Westham
Leads have been average this season but with Westham not being at full strength, I expect the game to be dragged out.
Leicester 3:0 Burnley
There isn’t much to be said here. Leicester is obviously the better team and favourite.
Watford 1:1 Newcastle
Both teams are struggling to get a good form and I expect them to drag it out.
Brentford 1:3 Liverpool
The Brentford team have been fantastic, especially for a newly promoted team. Despite all this, I see Liverpool winning comfortably.
Southampton 1:2 Wolves
Southampton is struggling to get a win and I think they have entered a draw mentality. So I expect Wolves to take advantage of this.
Arsenal 2:2 Tottenham
The fierce north London derby. I expect this not to be different from previous intense derby matches. A draw for me in this one.
Crystal Palace 2:1 Brighton
Though Brighton is in good form, I expect a win from the home team.
CHELSEA VS MAN CITY
I fancy Chelsea ripping this off, I think the lack of a proper forward has been making life difficult for the citizen and is so worrying going into their last two league matches without a goal. I think Chelsea will carry the day 2:1
MAN UNITED VS ASTON VILLA
United for me is being shaky, inconsistent results, Aston on the other hand can cause them problems if they screw their chances. I go for 1:1 here
EVERTON VS NORWICH
Rafa Benitez men should carry the day 3:0
LEEDS UNITED VS WEST HAM
WATFORD VS NEWCASTLE
BRENTFORD VS LIVERPOOL
This should be a rollercoaster for Liverpool. They will love to keep the pressure on Chelsea, though they have to be prepared for the bee’s physicality. 0:3
SOUTHAMPTON VS WOLVES
ARSENAL VS TOTTENHAM
The Gunners, despite the disastrous start of the campaign, has managed two clean sheets in the last two games. Three wins in a row should serve as momentum to get all the three-point against the bitter rivals who have failed to register a goal in their last two league games. 2:1
CRYSTAL PALACE VS BRIGHTON
LECEISTER VS BURNLEY
